Huskies Basketball was created from a simple belief: young athletes deserve access to quality coaching, meaningful competition, and a positive team environment without requiring excessive expense, travel, or sacrificing the other activities that help them grow.
As a parent of young athletes, I want my daughters to have an opportunity to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and enjoy the game without the pressures that can sometimes come with youth sports. I believe every player deserves that same opportunity.

I have been passionate about coaching since I started doodling basketball and football plays as a kid in elementary school in West Texas. Over two decades, I have coached basketball, soccer, and flag football from Kindergarten through 8th grade but basketball has always been my favorite sport due to the free-flowing team chemistry required to play beautiful basketball.
I played Division I football so I know about the path and dedication required for athletic success. However, I also know that sports are first and foremost about meaningful experiences for kids. I love coaching youth sports because of that joy that kids feel when they make rapid development breakthroughs. That feeling of accomplishment is the best kind of fun.
Beyond sports, I have experience leading adults as the founder or manager of five businesses. I've learned that the same principles of strong communication, clear expectations, and enthusiasm work across all ages and fields.
