Scoring is all about learning your "spots," the places a player is comfortable scoring from, and how to get to them. Becoming a great scorer requires constant repetition of your go-to shots combined with a methodical process of adding new tools to your scoring "bag" of tricks each season. A Husky Pup is learning the fundamentals of shooting: using one hand to shoot and shooting layups with proper form. They are practicing the Level 1 spots.

A Trail Runner, now on level 2 spots, is focusing on keeping good form at game speed.

A Husky ready for the Sled Team is now learning basic moves and counter-moves to get to their level 3 spots. They are getting comfortable scoring from multiple starting positions: off the dribble, back to the basket, or catch and release.

A Trailblazer is now extending their range as they move to level 4 spots. They are using both hands to score in the paint and introducing higher degree of difficult moves such as step throughs and spins, as well as scoring off balance.

A Pack Leader has extended their range to the 3-point line and is comfortable from every spot. They are committed to honing their scoring craft, working on an ultra-fast release, shooting 500 shots a day, and getting to their spots with high degree of difficulty moves such as stepbacks. A Pack Leader differentiates themselves with the ability to make tough baskets in isolation, even against tight coverage, and can be a go-to scorer in crunch time.
